By using a screening strategy the laboratory co-discovered the exceptional Free Radicals scavenger, Norbadione A, a natural pigment isolated from mushrooms. Since then, the laboratory follows a medicinal chemistry program that recently led us to report the first SAR study of the striking antioxidant activity of Norbadione A and related pulvinic acids.

The laboratory develops new biochemical tools for the protein profiling in living cells. We have developed an expertise in the design the synthesis and the use of advanced molecular tools : targeting probes and detection tools. Combined in one experiment they reveal the level of activation of the targeted proteins in the cell, the localization of the tagged proteins, their identity and the identity of proteins interacting in complex with the targeted protein.
